Description

Program Overview:
The English Pronunciation program consists of a series of four 16-hour courses for intermediate and advanced English speakers who want to improve their overall pronunciation to be better understood by native speakers.

Course Description:
In this course, an experienced instructor will work closely with students to address listening comprehension and clarity of speech with a concentration on rhythm, stress, and intonation as they pertain to consonant sounds. A pre-assessment will be conducted with each student to analyze his or her speech profile and a post-assessment will be conducted to determine each studentís strengths and weaknesses upon completion of the course.

Prerequisite(s):
In order to register for this course, you must complete an oral evaluation which places you at the mid intermediate level or above.
