Valencia’s Advanced Specialized Training for Fire offers classes to help you update your Fire knowledge. Instruction is given on the most recent updates, newest topics and latest equipment.

This course is aimed at firefighters who are assigned to a truck company or an engine company, and are expected to perform truck company functions at a fire scene.

• Ventilation practices
• Forcible entry functions
• Search tactics
• Building construction
• Ground ladder placement
• Use of various power tools
• RIT concepts
• Elevator rescue.

Students are required to provide their own personal protective equipment, including bunker gear, Nomex hood, gloves, eye protection, and steel-toed boots
