What is MOT?
When you think of Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) try to think of “work zone traffic control”.
In the most practical terms, MOT is needed to ensure both workers and the public can work in or travel through a work zone without getting injured.

Effective MOT involves planning, design, supervision, implementation and maintenance of various work zone traffic control devices. In order to accomplish this goal properly, trained and competent workers are needed.
