Security Supervisor Training This 3-day workshop helps prepare Security personnel for a supervisory role within the Security industry. Topics highlighted in the first day include Personnel Management highlighting the role of a supervisor and the individual qualities of a successful manager. Characteristics of an effective supervisor are also addressed along with the 3 basic styles of leadership. Day 2 topics include defining a critical/catastrophic incident and a supervisorís initial response to such. Incident zone classifications are discussed along with basic NIMS and ICS concepts. How to create an Action Plan based on these incidents is addressed and students will have the opportunity to present a critical incident plan. On day 3, students learn how to set organizational goals and objectives; understand liability issues and discuss how negligent supervision affects hiring and retention. Learning how to conduct effective job interviews along with performance evaluations are also highlighted.
